Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Goes Wedding collects when you visit goeswedding.com, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only.

Who is responsible. Goes Wedding operates this site as an independent editorial publisher. Questions about this policy, or about data relating to you, go to [email protected].

What we collect. We collect technical data only. There are no accounts on this site, no logins, no newsletter, no comment system and no forms that ask for your name.

We do not ask for or store payment details, and no purchase is ever completed on this site.

When you load a page, our hosting and delivery infrastructure processes standard technical information: your IP address, the type and version of your browser and operating system, the pages you requested, the time of the request, and the referring page if one was sent.

This is the ordinary operation of any web server and is used for delivering pages, security, and diagnosing errors.

Analytics. We use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are read and how people arrive at them. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to build a profile of you as an individual or to identify you personally.

Where our analytics provider sets a cookie or a similar identifier, it is described in our cookie policy.

Interactive tools. The calculators and planners on this site run entirely in your browser. Anything you type into them, including budgets, guest counts and dates, is processed locally on your device.

It is not transmitted to us, not stored on any server, and not retained after you close or reload the page.

Affiliate links. Some outbound links to retailers and service providers are affiliate links. When you follow one, the destination company or its affiliate network may set its own identifier in order to attribute a subsequent purchase.

That processing happens on their systems under their privacy policies, not ours, and we do not receive your personal information from it. We receive aggregate reporting about referred activity, which does not identify you. We never publish commission arrangements on the site.

Third parties that may process data. Our hosting and content delivery providers, our analytics provider, and the affiliate networks behind outbound links may process technical data as described above. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in United States state privacy law.

Legal basis and applicable law. We operate under applicable United States federal and state privacy law.

Several states, including California, grant residents specific rights over personal information, which may include the right to know what is collected, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing.

Because we do not sell or share personal information and hold only technical data, some of those rights will have little to apply to, but you may exercise any of them by writing to [email protected].

We will not discriminate against you for making a request. If you contact us to exercise a right, we may need to ask for enough information to locate the relevant records, and we will not use that information for anything else.

Retention. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and diagnostics. Aggregate analytics data is retained in aggregate form and is not linked back to an individual visitor.

Children. This site is written for adults planning a wedding. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Do Not Track and global privacy signals. Where your browser sends a recognized opt-out preference signal, we honor it in respect of the analytics and identifiers under our control.

Changes. If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be described rather than made silently.
