Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files that a website or a third party stores in your browser. This page lists the categories used on goeswedding.com and how to turn them off.

Strictly necessary.

A small number of cookies or equivalent local storage entries may be needed for the site to work: remembering a privacy or consent choice you have made, and supporting the security and load-balancing functions of our hosting and delivery infrastructure.

These do not track you across other sites and cannot be switched off from inside the site without breaking it.

Analytics. We use aggregate analytics to see which pages are read and how visitors reach them. Any cookie or identifier set for this purpose is used to count visits and distinguish sessions in aggregate.

It is not used to build an advertising profile, and we do not run display advertising on this site.

Affiliate attribution, set by third parties. When you click an outbound link to a retailer or service provider, that company or its affiliate network may set a cookie on its own domain so that a later purchase is attributed to this site. We do not set these cookies, we do not control how long they last, and we do not receive personal information through them.

The company's own cookie and privacy policies govern them. If you decline or later clear those cookies, nothing on our side stops working: our pages are identical whether or not attribution is possible.

Local storage used by the calculators. The tools on this site run in your browser. Some may use local storage to keep your inputs available while you are on the page.

Nothing entered into a calculator is sent to us or to anyone else, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

How to disable cookies. Every major browser allows you to block or delete cookies, either for all sites or per site.

In Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and their mobile versions, the controls live under privacy or content settings, usually described as cookies and site data, with options to block third-party cookies specifically.

Blocking third-party cookies is enough to stop affiliate attribution while leaving the site fully readable. Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode that discards cookies when the window closes. If you use a tracker-blocking extension, it will generally handle analytics and attribution cookies without any further configuration.

Consequences of disabling. All editorial content, tables and calculators on this site work with cookies blocked. Disabling analytics means your visit is not counted in our aggregate reporting.

Changes. If the categories described here change, this page is updated with a new effective date.
